The 10th Conference for Practical Philosophy took place on 28.-29. September in Salzburg. From 2024 onwards, Prof. Dr. Karoline Reinhardt will organise the conference at the University of Passau in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Birgit Beck from TU Berlin. The Conference for Practical Philosophy was founded in 2013 at the University of Salzburg by Dr. Gottfried Schweiger and Prof. Dr. Michael Zichy who will still be part of the organisational committee. It is one of the largest german-speaking conferences for philosophy, inlcuding 150 speakers on more than 100 topics. Speeches and discussions vary from philosophy of technology and AI to flight and migration, climate ethics or medical ethics.
