European Studies

As part of the European Studies degree programs (B.A., B.A. Major, and M.A.), which were gradually introduced at the University of Passau since 2002, regular lecture series on European topics were held. Two edited volumes emerged from these, providing insights into European research conducted by Passau faculty members.

European Studies – Europäische Kulturwissenschaft and European Studies – Interkulturelle Kommunikation und Kulturvergleich (edited by Daniela Wawra, Chair of the Examination Boards for the three degree programs from 2010 to 2021).

Prof. Wawra's publication list includes further research in the field of European Studies.

In addition, funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) was successfully secured multiple times for the B.A. European Studies Major program.
