The Chair of English Literature and Culture regularly runs seminars to prepare students for the State Exam in English literature. Attending the lecture course “Survey of British Literary History” early in your studies will allow you to identify your areas of interest as regards literary history. This lecture course is usually offered during winter terms. You can tailor the seminars you take to build up expertise in these areas and this will come in very useful once you prepare for the State Exam.

The Chair of English Literature and Culture administers a limited number of oral examinations in Sprechfertigkeit  and Landeskunde / Kulturwissenschaft. Examination topics need to align with the Chair’s research and teaching interests. For inquiries contact: lehrstuhl.boehm@uni-passau.de
