Dr. Julia Blanc
I studied Catholic theology in Augsburg, Paris and Munich, graduating in 2008.
In 2009 I joined the Rachel Carson Center, where I became a member of the Doctoral Program Environment and Society. In 2015, I completed my doctorate in theology, which focused on the subsidiary influence of church engagement in the environmental field.
From 2018 to 2021, I worked on the SNF project Urban Green Religions at the University of Basel. The findings from this research project serve as the basis for my second PhD in sociology.
Since spring 2022, I have worked at the Chair of Theological Ethics in Passau.
I am married and have four children.
